When I decided to explore the world, the first thing that came to my mind was the tedious task of airline tickets booking. Long before I started traveling, my life was confined in the sheer boredom of my office cubicle. The city lights did seem dazzling yet the tranquility of heart was nowhere to be found. During that time my life seemed stale and uninspired.
The question that kept buzzing in my mind was, “Where is my life heading?” even after spending weekends relaxing at home and doing some regular lifting in the gym, the question didn’t seem to go away. A piece of the puzzle wasn’t fitting in place. So I decide to take a break from all this and head out in search of someplace where I could find the real me. With my best pal Matt, I made a list of places that’ll light the fire in me. The list included places both in America and the world. It had everything from the serene beaches of Bali to the turquoise waters of Caribbean, the Rockies in Denver to the grandeur of The Alps and the fabulous Vegas to Times Square. Hey! You can’t just walk 1500 miles on foot, so the second thing we searched was cheap deals on airline tickets. Yeah, I had saved a few bucks from my job, but still, who doesn’t like some special privileges.
So the day arrived, I and Matt boarded the plane and headed for Bangkok. Instead of visiting the more heritage temples, buildings or architectures, we decided to some places serene, calm and peaceful. At the Khao Yai National Park, the sound of falling water was just so divine and soothing to the senses. You hardly see elephants in Minneapolis, so the visit to Elephant Nature Park meant watching these massive yet gentle giants closely. Thailand is known for green hills and what best to experience this natural delight at Lumphini Park and Cheow Lan Lake.
I had a great time, probably the piece of puzzle fitted perfectly in the slot. Cheap airline tickets booking and some great deals on airline tickets helped me save big and travel in my budget, not to mention the excellent services.
